Supportive Community Living

Room At The Inn operates a Supported Community Living Program in our Amy Elizabeth Disney House located in Greensboro, NC and in the Backyard Ministries House of the Cherry Street United Methodist Church in Kernersville, NC.

Room At The Inn helps homeless pregnant women in Guilford County

These include the College Program, Immediate Shelter and Extended Stay program.

The College Program

The College Program provides Supportive Community Living Services for graduates of the maternity home programs who want to enter or return to college. In addition to housing, we provide case management, child development services, financial/material assistance and tutoring/life skills education.

Immediate Shelter

Immediate Shelter beds are available for homeless, pregnant women and their children who are waiting for admission into the Nussbaum Maternity Home program.

Extended Stay

Extended Stay beds are available for mothers and children who have graduated from the Nussbaum Maternity Home program and are waiting for permanent housing to become available.
