Self Sufficiency Program

By integrating our maternity home, supported community
living, child care services and self sufficiency programs,
Room At The Inn of the Triad is able to offer a limited
number of graduates of the maternity home programs the
opportunity to attend college on a full-time basis. Clients
may pursue an Associate’s, a Bachelor’s, or a Master’s
degree at an accredited university or college. Clients
are offered limited work-study opportunities, housing,
case management, counseling, and financial/material
assistance. With the addition of the Samaritan House in
August 2008, we are able to provide this support for 6
women and their children.

“As a full-time nursing student at Guilford Technical Community College and a new mother, having a safe and happy place to live and study was important to me. Thanks to everyone who has made Room At The Inn possible!”
