McGivney Maternity Home

At the request of local civic leaders, Room At The Inn of the Lowcountry, was established in 2006 to bring our programs to South Carolina.

Named in honor of the founder of the Knights of Columbus, Father Michael McGivney, the McGivney Maternity Home enjoys the assistance of members of the local Knights of Columbus Councils and volunteers from local churches and civic groups who provide leadership and hundreds of hours of volunteer service.

Licensed by the SC Department of Social Services to provide residential and support services to homeless, pregnant teens and single mothers with children, the McGivney Maternity Home opened its doors in June of 2007. The facility is located in Bluffton, SC and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
